Rhodes photo diary

Rhodes photo diary | Joseph BurrowsUnless you don’t follow me on social media (erm, why?), you’ll know that I spent the first week of October having an amazing time on the beautiful island of Rhodes with my girlfriend Rhianna.

I last visited Rhodes four years ago, when I stayed right at the south of the island. I can safely say that this holiday was better in every single way.

I can’t even tell you how fantastic the holiday was, or how much I needed it. The hotel, the Amada Collossus Resort, was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and Rhodes was simply gorgeous. Is there anything more you could ever need? I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed in my life – it was LUSH.

We spent most of the week just relaxing at our hotel, reading and sunbathing on our terrace with a swim-up pool (EXTRA AF). Usually that’s all I really want from a holiday, but this year we couldn’t resist exploring the island a bit more.  We spent a day exploring the beautiful white-washed town of Lindos, and climbed the hundreds of steps lead to the stunning ruins of the Acropolis over the bay, as well as Rhodes Town and the old medieval cobbled streets at its centre.

Obviously I spent around 50% of my holiday taking way too many pretty photos – because that’s what bloggers do, right? To give you all the ultimate wanderlust (and maybe inspire your holiday booking for next year) I’ve put together a photo diary of my week in Rhodes.

I always knew I loved Rhodes, but this year I truly fell in love with the beautiful island, and I know without a doubt that I’ll be returning sooner rather than later.
